Injection
INJECTION
Définition
Injection is a cyclical process carried out using an injection press. Granules of the raw material are melted and mixed by means of a cylindrical worm before being injected a high pressure into a mould. The item is formed and cooled in the mould before being automatically ejected. It is then picked up by handling device and placed on a conveyor belt. Certain items require further processing work (shaving the sprue, assembly, clipping, drilling), which is carried out at workstations on the line.
Tooling and production
The most expensive part of the injection process is the creation of the mould, which is why our team works with you to design the ideal mould for your product (including the number of cavities, the materials used and the technical aspects of the item etc), following which we together calculate the volume best suited to your needs and the cost per item.
Thanks to our range of machinery, ranging from 25 to 400-tonne machines through to our grinders and handling equipment, we are well equipped for all of your projects, and can easily adapt to any batch size for injected parts. We are able to convert all forms of thermoplastic materials, from the simplest through to the most complicated including: PC, ABS, Polyamide, PP, PE, Polysulfone, etc.
